Green Mountain Coffee® Fair Trade ~ Review

Excited! That's what I was when I found out I was getting to try Green Mountain Coffee® Fair Trade Certified™ coffees. I love my morning coffee and trying new flavors seems to be a hobby of mine. ;) I was fortunate to try Vermont Country Blend, Wild Mountain Blueberry,Colombian Fair Trade Select, and Sumatran Reserve. With the later being my favorite! I found the Sumatran Reserve a perfect start to my hectic morning rounding up the kiddos for school. A nice dark roast that is just enhanced even more with a little cream and sugar. My husband and I enjoyed all of the flavors. We did notice that the Wild Mountain Blueberry seemed to taste a bit different as it cooled down. Not bad but the flavor seemed to change to us.

Not only is this coffee delicious but when purchasing Green Mountain Coffee® Fair Trade Certified™ coffees you can help improve an entire community.
Don't forget to check out  acclaimed musicians Grace Potter and Michael Franti  trips to Colombia and Sumatra via the  Green Mountain Coffee FaceBook page.  Watch them experience why Fair Trade means better coffee for you and a better life for farmers. You can also enjoy a live stream of  their  concerts.

Glade Expressions® Collection ~ Review

 BzzAgent time again!
I was given the opportunity to give the Glade Expressions® Collection a try.
I tend to have problems with strong scents giving me headaches so I entered into this campaign with caution. First I started with the Cotton & Italian Mandarin fragrance spray and I have to say I really like it! The fragrance is light and smelled great. The spray is a wonderful pick -me-up for the house especially after the dog has gotten a hold of something that doesn't agree with his tummy. ;) I love the fact that the fragrance bottle is refillable!

The oil diffuser has a contemporary design and blends well with just about any decor. I chose the
Pineapple & Mangosteen scent. It too was light and had a wonderful fragrance. At first I couldn't smell it throughout the house but after a few days the smell did travel.  My house sometimes has a tendency to not smell so fresh (I blame the dog, Hubby J, and the 6 year old Rock Star Prince) For the three weeks plus I have been using the Glade Expressions® oil diffuser I have yet to be hit with a musty smell when I enter my home.
The  Glade Expressions® Collection has an array of fragrances. You may purchase the collection at most grocery stores and mass retailers, as well as in some drug stores. You may also purchase online at www.glade.com

COVERGIRL & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation and Pressed Powder Review

As a BzzAgent I was given the opportunity to to try out COVERGIRL & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation and  Pressed Powder. I love the COVERGIRL Makeup that I use regularly but it does lack in full coverage of the dark circles around my eyes and my red blotchy skin. SO I thought I would give it a try.
I do have problems with a week or so of breakouts when I try new makeup. I have LUPUS, my skin is just real sensitive and I know that will happen. After the breakout period I notice how tone and smooth my skin was starting to look. As you can see in the before and after pictures below my skin looks firmer and the blotches are all evened out. The dark circles are still a bit visible but it is real hard to cover those up completely on me. My family and friend seven noticed! I was asked a few times what I was using for my skin because it looks so much healthier. Of course I had to brag a bit on COVERGIRL & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation and  Pressed Powder.
It takes me a while to get use to a new makeup so I don't like to change very often but I will be making the switch to COVERGIRL & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1!

Brew Over Ice K-Cup® Review

Once again I was so excited to get a BzzCampaign through BzzAgent.  I got to try Brew Over Ice K-Cups®!  As soon as my BzzKit came I had to  try it right away. So I set up my Keurig® brewer by pulling out the bottom tray so the tumbler (that was provided in the kit) would fit, put in the water and Brew Over Ice K-Cup®. Then I filled the tumbler with ice,set under the brewer, hit the power button and I was on the way to my first home brewed iced coffee.
I have to say, after all the hype of getting things going, I was a little bit disappointed in that first cup. To me it was a bit watery and needed more ice. Hubby J loved his though! I tried again a few days later with the iced coffee and had the same reaction as before. Again Hubby J loved his. I decided to try the Brew Over Ice Celestial Seasonings Half and Half Tea K-Cup® next and was in love with the first sip! Then I tried the Southern Sweet and LOVED it as well!
I have decided that I am just not fond of iced coffee in general. Everyone else who has tried it liked it like Hubby J.  I guess I am just into the Keurig® brewed hot coffees and  Brew Over Ice Teas.
Now every evening after Hubby J gets home I get me a yummy tumbler full of Brew Over Ice Southern Sweet Tea and relax while the kids argue and Hubby J takes over for a while.
If you get a chance hop on over to Tumbler Nation on facebook to check out what they have to offer!

Woolite® Extra Dark Care Review

A few weeks ago I received a Woolite® Extra Dark Care CrowdShare through Crowdtap . In the package I received 10 samples/coupons to use myself and to share with others.
I have used Woolite before only once and a LONG time ago so I was just thinking that "It's just another detergent." I am so glad I was proved wrong! I noticed after the first wash that my older jeans had a refreshed almost "happy" about them. I hang my jeans up to dry instead of using the dryer for them and I noticed they dried in about half the time as usual.  I am not sure if this is something that is supposed to happen but it was a big plus for me, a person who sometimes puts off washing jeans until the night before I need them. I will be purchasing  some Woolite Extra Dark Care on my next shopping trip!

This review is based on my opinion of the samples I received through Crowdtap.

Dr. Scholl’s® Massaging Gel Insoles™ Review

I was so excited to receive Dr. Scholl’s® Massaging Gel Insoles as my first  BzzCampaign because I almost always have back pain when I walk for long distances.

The day I got my insoles in the mail we were going on a two day camping trip. I grabbed the box and headed out the door. (I should have taken a picture but I was in a rush to get us all going and I forgot)

Once we got to our campsite and got everything set up, my niece wanted to go for a "walk". Sure why not just a little walk. I asked her to wait while I put the insoles in my walking shoes. It took a little longer than I thought it would to get them in. Even after trimming I had to unlace my shoes and give  a good shove. 15 minutes and being laughed at by various membes of my family later we were on our way.
Our "little" walk turned into a two mile hike!  I didn't notice a big difference  in my shoes while walking other that a little more cushion when I first started out. When we got back I was tired but I did notice that I had NO leg or back pain like I normally do on a "walk" like that. That made me a happy camper the rest of the trip! LOL
I have used them only a few times after that as we are in the middle of a ho summer and I am wearing a lot of flip flops right now. When I do wear them I love the no after affects!

Dr. Scholl’s® has many different products to meet the feet! Check them out to see how comfortable you can be in your shoes.   drscholls.com

Busy week!

Mother's Day weekend was great! On Saturday I did a photo shoot with one of my besties and her adorable family. Then it was off to see my parents. We took my mom dinner & made homemade cookies and cream ice cream. (YUM!) My niece brought my 2 month old great-niece to visit and I got to smooch on chubby cheeks.

Sunday was pretty laid back. Hubby J fixed me a yummy brunch of eggs-in -a-basket with coffee in my new cup that looks like a Nikon lens. (LOVE IT!) We went fishing (one of my favorite things) in the evening. Only caught 2 perch but was still fun just relaxing by the lake. For Mother's Day I got seasons passes for the family to a theme park that is just a few hours away and a trip already planned for Memorial Day weekend! I LOVE roller coasters and rides of all kinds. I am still just a big kid!

On Monday I just did some  photo editing and tried to clean this constantly cluttered house.

Tuesday I went on Rock Star J's Kindergarten field trip to the zoo and park. I had so much fun learning about the animals and spending some extra time with the boy. He was so quiet. I kept asking him what was wrong. He told me he was trying to be good.

Last night Mr. Rock Star J lost his first tooth! He was so excited that he started jumping around and laughing. I have to admit I shed a little tear. My baby is growing up way too fast. The tooth fairy was so generous by leaving $5.00! I tried to stay up to see if  Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is the tooth fairy but alas sleep overcame me ;)

MOMS moment: Yesterday Drama Queen S and I were  grocery shopping. I asked her to get me a bag to put tomatoes in. She looked at me funny. I again asked her to go get me a bag.( I was a bit more snappy this time) Then she pointed beside me and of course there are the bags right there almost touching me. Drama Queen burst out laughing at me. You just wait girlie it will set in on you some day...

His first tooth lost!
